Kenyan Soapstone Heart

Soapstone is a soft rock frequently used for sculpting. The smooth feel of the soapstone surface makes you want to hold it in your hand -- maybe as a worry-stone, or perhaps to remind you of someone you love (or, more likely, to give to someone you love to remind them of you?). This soapstone heart is hand carved and painted in Kenya, where soapstone is hand dug from out of the ground.
