Salutation and Greeting to You
This card is from the Bodleian Library in Oxford, England. The Bodleian Library is the main research library of the University of Oxford, and one of the oldest libraries in Europe. It is among the five libraries that hold copies of all the copyrighted books in the United Kingdom. The back of this card includes a description of how the Bodleian Library obtained a copy of Shakespeare’s First Folio (the 1623 edition of the collected plays). Back of card also shows a reproduction of an engraved portrait of Shakespeare.
